Artist Statement

Light shapes and defines the world I see.  While light illuminates my physical space and the objects in it, it also inspires an inner enthusiasm that propels me to create and paint.

The challenge is to listen to my own unique essence, allow it to flow from my brush and manifest it on canvas, which I hope in turn, touches the viewer.

By exploring art in the wings of the atmosphere on the edges of light, I found there is renewal in the dawn greeting the day, humbleness in the bright noonday sun, and gratitude in the last lingering touch of the evening's rays.
